Job Requirements
- Prior restaurant experience is a plus
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must possess an energetic, positive attitude and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced, team environment
- Able to work in a standing position for extended periods of time
- Can perform high quality work while unsupervised
- Able to safely lift and easily maneuver trays of food when necessary
- Able to handle money accurately and operate a point-of-sale (POS) system
- Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines for all products
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance
- Be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays as dictated by business demands
- Willingly perform other reasonable tasks and duties as assigned by management

Job Duties
- Greet guests as they enter and provide information and directions as needed
- Possess a good knowledge of the menu, able to provide menus to guests and answer any questions
- Seat guests at tables or place them on a waitlist
- Assign guests to preferred tables while keeping table rotation in mind so that servers receive a fair number of customers
- Update the floor chart regularly throughout the shift
- Clean menus as required throughout the shift
- Ensure the front door area and waiting lobby are maintained and cleaned inside and out
- Keep the host stand clean and stocked with necessary items
- Engage and provide excellent hospitality and service to the guests to ensure they enjoy their experience
- Possess good phone hospitality, make reservations, and answer any questions
- Assist in other areas of the restaurant as needed
