Job Description
The City of Portland Parks, Recreation, and Facilities Department is a well-established municipal entity responsible for the stewardship and enhancement of the city’s natural and cultural resources. Serving Portland, Maine, this department manages a diverse range of offerings including more than 70 parks, 40 miles of trails, 13 cemeteries, 30 playgrounds, and multiple public buildings and waterfront infrastructures. Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- ability to lift and move heavy objects for extended periods
- previous golf course experience preferred
- experience working with cash handling
- computer experience preferred
- valid class c driver's license with good driving record
- ability to work flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
