Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work flexible hours including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holiday periods
- Ability to handle manual tasks involving folding, hanging, packaging, and tagging merchandise
- Basic computer skills or ability to learn point of sale software
- Commitment to uphold company policies and code of ethics
- Ability to communicate confidentially regarding policy violations
Job Qualifications
- No prior experience or training required
- Ability to work flexible schedules including holidays
- Basic knowledge or willingness to learn point of sale software
- Strong organizational skills
- Attention to detail

- Knowledge of retail operations preferred
Job Duties
- Compare and verify merchandise invoices to items received to ensure that shipments are correct
- Send any alterations, layaways, or special orders to guests via FedEx
- Check accuracy of freight packing slips and transfer slips
- Double-check that all transfers have been processed through the register and that items match what you are shipping out
- Fold items and place in appropriate sized box for proper presentation of product when shipped
- Remove pins and plastic from merchandise shipped in
- Place Sensormatic tags on each garment in the designated place
- Hang and fold merchandise to be put on the sales floor and steam when necessary
- Assist on projects on floor when necessary
- Work a flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holiday periods
- Develop and maintain knowledge of point of sale software
- Receive freight boxes and store transfers through register
- Send discrepancies in store mail and maintain records
- Maintain shipment-related paperwork
- Monitor and prevent security risks and thefts
- Make FedEx labels for packages and sort by required transit time
- Send in recalls and return to vendors weekly
- Keep supplies stocked and organized
- Organize fixtures and shelving
- Maintain a neat, clean, and organized work area
- Communicate policy violations to management confidentially
- Provide feedback to management regarding merchandise handling
- Understand and apply company code of ethics and policies
- Perform job duties with a high level of customer service and contribute to positive team spirit
- Complete special projects as assigned
