Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Ability to lift and maneuver 50 pounds throughout the store and backroom
  • Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, and hear regularly
  • Ability to work flexible shifts including holidays
  • Willingness to maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Adherence to Buckle’s Code of Ethics and company policies
  • Must have reliable attendance and punctuality

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Basic knowledge of POS software preferred
  • Strong attention to detail

Job Duties

  • Compare and verify merchandise invoices to items received to ensure shipments are correct
  • Send alterations, layaways, or special orders to Guests via FedEx
  • Check accuracy of freight packing slips and transfer slips
  • Double-check that all transfers have been processed through the register and that items match what you are shipping out
  • Fold items and place in appropriate sized box for proper presentation when shipping to Guests and other stores
  • Remove pins and plastic from merchandise shipped in
  • Place Sensormatic tags on each garment in designated place
  • Hang and fold merchandise for sales floor and steam when necessary
  • Assist on floor projects when necessary
  • Work a flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holiday periods
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of POS software
  • Receive freight boxes and store transfers through register
  • Send discrepancies in store mail and file non-errors for 30 days
  • Maintain all shipment-related paperwork
  • Recognize security risks and thefts and know how to prevent or handle them
  • Make FedEx labels for outgoing packages and sort packages by shipment transit time
  • Send in recalls and Return to Vendors weekly
  • Keep supplies in stock and organized
  • Organize fixtures and shelving
  • Support a neat, clean, and organized work area
  • Maintain daily work files in order
  • Communicate policy violations to management confidentially
  • Provide feedback to Store Manager and team on merchandise handling
  • Understand and apply Buckle’s Code of Ethics and policies
  • Perform job duties with high customer service standards and positive team spirit
  • Perform special projects and other duties as assigned
