Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- ability to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel

- ability to work a flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holiday periods

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- strong attention to detail
- ability to work flexible hours including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- basic knowledge of Point of Sale (POS) software preferred
- strong communication skills
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- ability to follow instructions and company policies
- commitment to providing excellent customer service
- previous experience in retail or shipping is a plus but not required
Job Duties
- Compare and verify merchandise invoices to items received to ensure that shipments are correct
- send alterations, layaways, or special orders to Guests via FedEx
- check accuracy of freight packing slips and transfer slips
- double-check that all transfers have been processed through the register and that items match what you are shipping out
- fold items and place in appropriately sized boxes when shipping to Guests and other stores
- remove pins and plastic from merchandise shipped in
- place Sensormatic tags on each garment in the designated place
- hang and fold merchandise to be put on the sales floor and steam when necessary
- assist on projects on the floor when necessary
- work a flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holiday periods
- develop and maintain knowledge of Point of Sale (POS) software
- receive freight boxes and store transfers through register
- send discrepancies in store mail and file non-errors
- maintain all shipment-related paperwork
- watch for and recognize security risks and thefts and know how to prevent or handle these situations
- make FedEx labels for all packages being sent out and sort packages by shipment transit time
- send in recalls and Return to Vendors (RTVs) weekly
- keep supplies in stock and organized
- organize fixtures and shelving
- maintain a neat, clean, and organized work area
- maintain daily work filed and in order
- communicate any policy violations to Store Manager, District Manager, and/or Human Resources
- provide feedback to management about merchandise handling concerns
- understand and apply Buckle's Code of Ethics and all policies
- perform special projects and other duties as assigned
- fulfill mission statement by performing duties with a high level of customer service and contributing to a positive team spirit
