Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Ability to work weekends, holidays, and special events
  • Ability to follow health and safety regulations
  • Ability to operate cash register and POS system
  • Physical stamina for standing and lifting tasks
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Good interpersonal skills

Job Qualifications

  • A positive and outgoing demeanor
  • Flexibility to be cross-trained in all areas of the operation
  • Ability to move objects weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Prior food preparation experience preferred but not required

Job Duties

  • Set up and break down workstations
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation including trash removal, sweeping, mopping and general cleanliness
  • Knowledge of food product, identification and acceptable level of food quality
  • Maintain Department of Health standards at all times and participate in inspections
  • Rotate and change food holding containers as needed
  • Prepare food according to recipes and protocols, including operating food preparation equipment
  • Ensure proper portion sizes to maintain food costs
  • Assist in other areas of production as needed
  • Perform cash handling functions including operating the POS
  • Provide general customer service
  • Adhere to cleaning schedules as posted and directed by management
  • Ensure all work locations are neat, clean, organized and safe
  • Provide consistent quality throughout menu and ensure proper preparation and holding of products
  • Complete reasonable requests or assigned tasks by management
  • Establish and maintain collaborative working relationships with all staff
  • Maintain general knowledge of park attractions and amenities to provide superior customer service
  • Follow all WCS rules and regulations
  • Remove debris and empty trash receptacles from restaurant seating and public areas
  • Perform general sanitation of restaurant grounds
  • Conduct deep cleaning of equipment, walls, floors, ceilings as assigned
  • Operate lightweight grounds equipment such as pressure washer and leaf blower
  • Adhere to cleanliness, food handling, and food storage procedures according to local, state, and federal regulations
