Job Description

The Worcester Bravehearts Baseball Club is a prominent community-focused baseball organization based in Worcester, Massachusetts. Job Requirements

  • Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs
  • Flexible availability including all home games and special events
  • Seasonal commitment from May through August with possible preseason setup
  • Certification in alcohol service
  • Knowledge of food safety standards
  • Experience with POS systems
  • Previous food and beverage management experience

Job Qualifications

  • Prior experience in food and beverage management concessions hospitality or event operations
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage large seasonal staffs
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • Comfortable working nights weekends holidays and long game days
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced outdoor sports environment
  • POS system experience preferred
  • Alcohol service certification

Job Duties

  • Oversee all concession stands including cooking mobile food units bars and specialty vendors during home games and events
  • Ensure efficient service product quality and consistent presentation across all food and beverage areas
  • Troubleshoot operational issues in real time to keep lines moving and fans happy
  • Train schedule and supervise seasonal food and beverage staff
  • Lead pre-game staff meetings and assign roles for each event
  • Maintain a positive energetic team culture aligned with the Bravehearts brand
  • Manage ordering receiving storage and tracking of food beverage and supply inventory
  • Coordinate with food suppliers and beverage partners
  • Monitor waste control costs and maximize per-cap revenue
  • Ensure compliance with all health department regulations food safety standards and alcohol service laws
  • Maintain proper permits cleanliness and food-handling procedures serv-safe tips certified allergen awareness certifications
  • Enforce responsible alcohol service policies
  • Track sales labor costs and inventory usage
  • Reconcile post-game cash credit and POS reports
  • Provide insights and recommendations to improve efficiency and profitability
