Job Requirements

  • Completion of cast certification program as a cast member and as box office cashier or progress towards completion
  • Completion of legally required state or local alcohol training and certification if alcohol is sold and duties involve selling or serving alcohol
  • Effective public speaking skills
  • Ability to listen and respond clearly
  • Ability to perform fast and accurate calculations
  • Strong reasoning and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to manage time and priorities
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, sit, use hands and arms, talk and hear frequently
  • Occasional ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
  • Ability to lift up to 60 pounds occasionally
  • Vision including close, distance, peripheral, depth perception and focus adjustment
  • Compliance with company policies including dress code
  • Ability to work in a smoke-free facility

Job Duties

  • Regular and consistent attendance
  • Handling of emergency situations when called upon
  • General cleaning duties
  • Compliance with company dress code
  • Operating POS system including cash handling and accuracy
  • Up selling and suggestive selling of premium viewing experiences
  • Promoting the Regal Crown Club program
  • Ensuring ticket sales comply with MPAA rating system and company policy
  • Responding to phone calls and guest inquiries
  • Operating, preparing and cleaning concession equipment
  • Complying with food safety laws and alcohol certification if applicable
  • Tearing tickets and directing patrons
  • Inspecting backpacks and managing crowd control
  • Enforcing MPAA rating system in auditoriums
  • Conducting theatre inspections for picture, sound, and safety
  • Reporting theatre discrepancies to management
  • Performing in-auditorium concession sales
  • Cleaning auditoriums and maintaining cleanliness in common areas
  • Monitoring vending equipment
  • Assisting with opening and closing duties
