Known for providing exceptional movie-going experiences, Regal operates numerous theaters across multiple states and offers a dynamic and engaging workplace for individuals seeking part-time, full-time, or variable hour employment. With a strong commitment to customer service and community engagement, Regal fosters a culture where employees are encouraged to develop their skills and provide the best possible service to guests. Regal's value-driven mission ensures that each staff member contributes to maintaining an enjoyable and safe environment for movie lovers of all ages.

The role of Floor Staff at Regal is essential for maintaining efficient theater operations and delivering outstanding guest service. Regardless of the specific position within the floor staff team, employees are expected to consistently represent Regal’s policies and uphold its mission statement by ensuring every guest has a memorable and positive experience.

This position requires regular attendance, the ability to remain calm and effectively handle emergency situations, and adherence to assigned dress codes. Specific duties vary by assignment: Box Office roles involve operation of point-of-sale systems, handling cash transactions accurately, upselling premium movie experiences, promoting loyalty programs, enforcing ticket sale policies in accordance with the Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA) rating system, and guest communication. Ushers manage entry control by tearing and collecting tickets, maintain auditorium cleanliness, ensure safety standards, monitor audience behavior, and assist guests during peak times.

Regal Floor Staff receives a competitive wage with a pay rate of $17.25 per hour, reflecting the importance of their role within the cinema experience. Regal emphasizes personal development and offers various training programs including state and local certification requirements for alcohol handling and the Regal Entertainment Responsible Beverage Server training module available through their online university. Physical demands include standing, walking, occasional lifting of up to 60 pounds, and other active tasks necessary to keep theater operations smooth and guests satisfied. This role suits individuals with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to handle potential conflicts calmly and effectively, and a passion for delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment. Regal also maintains a smoke-free facility, promoting a clean and healthy workspace for all employees and guests.
