Job Description

CEC Entertainment, LLC is a nationally recognized leader in family dining and entertainment, most famously operating the iconic Chuck E. Cheese, Peter Piper Pizza, and Chuck's Arcade brands. Headquartered in Irving, Texas, the company brings joy and lasting memories to families and children through a unique blend of great food, engaging entertainment, and a welcoming environment designed especially for kids and families. Each year, Chuck E. Cheese alone celebrates over half a million birthdays, making it a beloved destination where fun, food, and play come together to create unforgettable experiences. CEC Entertainment is dedicated to safety, employing programs like Kid Check® to ensure a secure environment, and has donated more than $24 million to schools and nonprofits. The company not only champions family fun but also leads in innovation and employee well-being, earning accolades including the "Best in STEM" award and recognition as one of America's Greatest Workplaces in 2025.

CEC Entertainment operates nearly 600 Chuck E. Cheese locations and over 120 Peter Piper Pizza venues across 45 states and 18 countries, fostering a culture of diversity and inclusion. The company deeply values its workforce, aiming to reflect the rich backgrounds and perspectives of the diverse guests it serves. With a strong emphasis on career development, CEC offers job training and substantial opportunities for growth, promoting internal advancement — over 60% of managers were promoted from within.

Now Hiring Cashiers at Chuck E. Cheese, a frontline role vital to delivering excellent guest service. Cashiers are responsible for greeting guests, taking orders, processing payments, assisting with prize redemption, and essentially creating a welcoming environment where guests feel valued and excited. This role offers competitive hourly pay ranging from $16.90 to $17.90 and features an exciting commission structure based on sales of memberships and Fun Passes, with different tiers depending on exemption status. Cashiers benefit from the "Work Today, Get Paid Tomorrow" program, allowing access to earned wages daily rather than waiting for the traditional paycheck cycle.

This position is ideal for first-time job seekers or anyone looking to start or build a career in a dynamic, family-oriented entertainment setting. Cashiers receive cross-training in various positions, enhancing skills and creating pathways to advancement within the company. The environment is fast-paced and fun, but also requires the ability to manage physical activity including standing, bending, lifting objects up to 50 pounds, and maintaining excellent customer engagement despite job stress. Safety and health are paramount at CEC, with rigorous sanitation and operational procedures exceeding local requirements to protect all employees and guests.

Employee benefits are comprehensive and designed to support workforce well-being nationwide. All employees have access to telemedicine services, early wage access, a 401(k) retirement plan, meal discounts, and education-related resources including tuition savings and scholarships. Part-time employees may enroll in fixed indemnity medical plans, dental, vision, and voluntary life and disability insurance, while full-time staff (averaging 29.5+ hours per week) have access to more comprehensive medical, dental, vision coverage, paid sick and vacation time, holidays, Flexible Spending Account (FSA) and Health Savings Account (HSA) options, and additional voluntary benefits.

CEC Entertainment is committed to fair hiring practices and will consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records pursuant to the California Fair Chance Act and the Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance. Reasonable accommodations are made for individuals with disabilities to perform essential job functions. Our commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion is foundational, and we proudly stand as an Equal Opportunity Employer providing a respectful and vibrant workplace for all.
