Job Requirements

  • Associate degree
  • 1-2 years experience in entertainment, food and beverage, or hospitality industry with banquet or private events experience
  • Ability to communicate effectively in written and oral formats
  • Strong supervisory and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be flexible and adaptable to change

  • Associate degree
  • Bachelor’s degree a plus
  • 1-2 years experience in entertainment, food and beverage, or hospitality industry with banquet or private events experience
  • Ability to communicate effectively in written and oral formats

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be flexible and adaptable to change

Job Duties

  • Oversee event and activation operations assigned by the Area Events Manager
  • Coordinate with park operations teams to deliver best in class pre, day of and post event execution
  • Maintain park event calendar, ensure its data accuracy, and make necessary adjustments
  • Supervise multiple events simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Communicate daily event details consistently to Events Supervisor, Marketing, IPS, and Operations Directors
  • Proactively handle arising issues and troubleshoot problems during all events
  • Assist in event orders including food and beverage arrangements and payment processing
  • Function as the on-site contact to guests for all event aspects
  • Assist with on-site sponsorship activations, sign installation, and compliance photos
  • Conduct pre and post event evaluations and report outcomes to Events and Execution Supervisor
  • Ensure events are executed to Six Flags standards
  • Provide excellent client and guest service at all times
  • Coordinate production and distribution of event marketing materials
  • Assist in development and implementation of marketing plans
  • Perform other duties as assigned
