Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous event coordination or hospitality experience preferred
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- excellent communication and organizational skills
- ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
- availability to work varied hours including weekends and evenings
- ability to stand and move for extended periods
Job Qualifications
- Obtain a food handlers permit
- obtain a TABC certification
- be prompt and dependable
- possess a positive, committed, trustworthy, and responsible attitude
- have a heart for hospitality
- experience working in a fast-paced, high-energy restaurant or bar
Job Duties
- Print banquet event orders and kitchen sheets weekly
- attend weekly BEO meetings and review upcoming events for comprehensive planning
- coordinate with operations for smooth execution including AV equipment testing and signage management
- address dietary restrictions and create necessary signage
- develop, maintain, and clean buffet signage ensuring clarity
- assess and prepare equipment for scheduled events and manage event inventory
- set up buffets according to standards and event specifications
- conduct nightly walk-throughs to reset event spaces post-event and clean equipment
- assist with event preparation and inventory management including drink tickets and wristbands
- liaise with manager on duty to confirm staff allocations and coordinate with front-of-house staff for event area designation
- monitor event calendar and email managers about upcoming events within a 7-day window
- monitor replenishments during events and serve as main point of contact for event hosts
- perform buffet takedown and restore event spaces post-event
- update inventory needs and communicate orders as required
