Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum 2 years of related experience and/or training in a service-oriented business
  • At least 1 year of experience as an event server or similar
  • Experience with Ctuit, GoTab, or Open Table desirable
  • Possession of a current San Diego County Food Handlers card
  • Must have current RBS training certificate
  • Certified Beer Server preferred
  • Reliable transportation for occasional travel
  • Ability to work seasonally from October through January

Job Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of related experience in a service-oriented business
  • At least 1 year of experience as an event server or similar role preferred
  • Experience with Ctuit, GoTab, or Open Table is desirable
  • Current San Diego County Food Handlers card
  • Current Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) training certificate
  • Certified Beer Server preferred
  • Reliable transportation for occasional travel to events and other locations

Job Duties

  • Welcome and greet fans as needed
  • Make all fans feel comfortable and provide personalized care
  • Perform banquet set-up and tear down including handling table linens, place settings, glassware, tables, chairs, and food buffet
  • Setup and breakdown of service areas and bars as needed
  • Set banquet rooms according to function sheets, diagrams, and instructions
  • Deliver food and beverages from kitchen and bar to guests timely and as per event specifications
  • Communicate clearly and openly with team members and guests
  • Monitor guest experience and respond promptly to requests
  • Report any guest complaints to supervisor
  • Clear soiled dishes, glassware, and cutlery as needed
  • Follow all health and food safety practices maintaining cleanliness and organization
