Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or GED
  • food handlers card
  • serv safe certification within 90 days of hire
  • one year of experience in event planning or related field
  • CPR and First Aid certification within 90 days of hire
  • flexibility to work evenings and weekends
  • valid AZ driver's license with satisfactory 39-month MVR report
  • ability to obtain tribal operator driving permit
  • pass a drug test
  • agree to maintain a drug-free workplace

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Collaborate with event organizers to understand food and beverage service needs
  • develop comprehensive plans including menu selection and staffing
  • consult with senior management on event day logistics
  • recruit, train, and supervise food and beverage staff
  • provide ongoing coaching and feedback
  • establish and maintain vendor and supplier relationships
  • coordinate deliveries and manage inventory
  • set a culture of exceptional customer service
  • handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally
  • ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations
  • implement safety policies
  • monitor food and beverage costs and labor expenses
  • identify opportunities for cost savings
  • oversee setup, execution, and breakdown of service areas
  • coordinate with departments for smooth event operations
  • solicit feedback for continuous improvement
  • stay updated on industry trends and best practices
