Job Requirements
- Ability to walk and stand for prolonged periods
- Must be able to lift, carry, and place up to 25 pounds at a time
- Food handling certification is required
- Availability to work varying shifts, holidays and weekends
- Proven experience as a Food Runner preferred
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong customer service skills

- Outstanding coordination and multi-tasking abilities
- Provide a customer-oriented approach and be able to remain calm under stressful situations
- Understanding of health and safety rules in a restaurant – Food handling certification is a must due to local requirements
- Availability to work varying shifts, holidays and weekends is required for this position
Job Duties
- Ensures the efficient flow of orders from the wait staff to the kitchen
- Ensures orders are being prepared with the correct priority and alerts management to quality issues or long wait times
- Assists in the final plate presentation (e.g. adding condiments and/or toppings)
- Checks dishes before delivery for accuracy, presentation, and temperature
- Delivers orders quickly to customers to maintain fast service
- Communicates important information to the kitchen and the Elevations staff (e.g. when a customer has a particular request)
- Eliminates obstacles in service, food preparation lines, or dishwashing
- Inspects the premises according to quality and sanitation standards and assists in cleaning
- Handles complaints from customers to preserve the restaurant’s reputation of providing excellent customer service
- Performs other related duties as assigned
