Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • At least 1 year of related experience and/or training in a high-volume kitchen environment
  • Must have a current San Diego County Food Handlers card, issued by the city of San Diego
  • Reliable transportation
  • Ability to work during the October through January holiday period

Job Duties

  • Working machine and/or hand wash station as necessary
  • Removing garbage and recycling at end of each shift
  • Assisting in trash audits
  • Promptly reporting equipment issues, shortages and other problems to chef or supervisor
  • Completing opening and closing checklists
  • Closing the kitchen properly and/or assisting others in closing the kitchen
  • Consistently maintaining all company and industry safety and sanitization practices and standards
  • Practicing open and respectful communication while assisting with identifying and driving process improvements
