Job Requirements
- High school diploma
- prior dishwashing or sanitation experience, preferably in a warehouse setting
- ability to stand or walk for extended periods
- ability to exert up to 50 lbs of force occasionally, 30 lbs frequently, and 10 lbs constantly
- must follow workplace safety procedures
- ability to read and follow directions
- capability to handle repetitive lifting and carrying tasks

- prior dishwashing or sanitation experience preferably in a warehouse setting

Job Duties
- Sorts and rinses dirty dishes and cooking utensils and places them in racks to send through dish machine
- Sorts and stacks clean dishes
- carries clean dishes to factory production areas and proper storage areas
- re-washes soiled dishes before delivering
- Keeps the dish machine clean and reports any functional or mechanical problems immediately
- Monitors dish machine water temperature to ensure sanitary wash cycle
- Changes dishwater in dish machine hourly
- Handwashes specific items that cannot be run through the dish machine
- Keeps dish room clean and organized
- Maintains adequate levels of clean dishes and utensils in various production areas
- Handles materials carefully to prevent breakage and loss
- Maintains adequate levels of dish detergents and cleaning supplies
- Wipes up any spills to ensure floors remain dry and safe
- Cleans and sanitizes various pieces of equipment
- Lifts and carries racks or stacks of dishes weighing up to 30 lbs many times per shift
- Reads labels on chemicals and uses appropriate safety precautions concerning each type of chemical
- Maintains knowledge of workplace safety procedures
