Job Requirements
- High school diploma
- Outgoing and upbeat guest interaction skills
- Desire to develop strong culinary skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Food safety knowledge
- Ability to follow health and safety guidelines
- Ability to maintain a clean and sanitized work station
- Capable of safely handling knives and other kitchen equipment
- Ability to lift and carry weight according to physical demands
- Ability to stand, stoop, squat, bend, reach, push, pull, grip, twist, lift, climb, carry, walk, and kneel
- Must be able to perform physical tasks frequently and occasionally
- Must comply with workplace drug and alcohol policies
- Must not pose a direct threat to health and safety of others
Job Qualifications

- Food safety certification preferred
Job Duties
- Prepare fresh food items
- Suggest ways to cook multiple fresh items for the same dishes simultaneously
- Create sauces or toppings for dishes and assist in developing new dishes
- Maintain a clean and sanitized work station
- Verbally receive and call back guest orders in an upbeat and friendly manner
- Follow health and safety guidelines
- Adhere to recipes and presentations for food and beverage items
- Handle food safely and use proper knife handling
- Cut, package, and prepare fresh meat products
- Follow proper cooking procedures according to standardized recipes and supervisor instructions
- Utilize kitchen equipment such as broilers, ovens, deep-fat fryers, slicers, choppers, steamers, knives, and paddles
- Use appropriate equipment for the preparation and service of food
