Job Requirements
- Must be able to work 4 to 5 days per week
- Must be available to work all weekends and holidays
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to follow directions and work collaboratively
- Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in crowd control, security, or public safety is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and varying schedules
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Basic knowledge of safety protocols and emergency response procedures
Job Duties
- Assist NYA security staff in maintaining crowd control throughout the NYA park and exhibits
- Assist NYA security staff in directing first responders (EMS, FDNY, NYPD) to locations within the park and grounds
- Assist with guest egress at daily Aqua Theater shows and monitoring the theater during all demonstrations
- Assist NYA security staff with any issues of guest egress in all exhibit areas
