Job Requirements
- Able to individually lift up to 50 lbs daily
- Able to team lift over 50 lbs occasionally
- Able to safely work at different heights using ladders, scaffolds, electric pallet jacks, or other equipment
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, and weekends
- Ability to operate specialized cleaning equipment
- Must follow Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) procedures and all safety rules
- Understanding and adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices
- Good attendance record
- Certification to operate electric pallet jack
- Ability to complete assignments with minimal supervision
- Willingness to wear required personal protective equipment
Job Qualifications
- Able to work a flexible schedule including day and night shifts and weekends if needed
- Demonstrated safe work habits including following LOTO procedures and all other safety rules
- Understanding and adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
- Good attendance record and adherence to attendance policy
- Ability to operate specialized cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers and wax remover machines
- Certification to operate an electric pallet jack
- Willingness to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) including face shields, masks, goggles, safety glasses, rubber boots, ear plugs, body harness, and gloves
- Ability to follow directions, work with minimal supervision, and complete assignments
- Flexibility to work in different areas as assigned
Job Duties
- General cleaning of all plant departments including the decorator area, offices and warehouses to maintain sanitary conditions in accordance with good manufacturing practices
- Manual scrubbing, brushing, sweeping, mopping of various surfaces including floors
- Use of steam and water hoses, operation of pot washers, tray washers, compactors and floor scrubbers
- Lifting and working safely in a wet environment
- Removal of trash and sanitizing restrooms
- Perform checks and measurements and make adjustments to achieve quality targets
- Record or document the results of measurements on appropriate forms
- Escalate issues to management when specifications are not met
- Use measurements of product parameters to verify the process is within specifications
