Job Requirements

- Availability to work evenings and weekends
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
- Valid identification to verify legal drinking age for bartenders
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to follow instructions and event plans
- Flexibility to accept or reject event invitations based on schedule

- Prior experience in catering, hospitality, or customer service preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Familiarity with food and beverage service standards

Job Duties
- Assist in all aspects of set-up and break-down, including lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds, and occasionally up to 75 pounds
- Serve guests with dedication to detail and excellent customer service
- Become familiar with the catering menu and answer customer questions concerning food being served
- Maintain a courteous and well-mannered demeanor throughout the event
- Review event worksheet and be knowledgeable about event details and timelines
- Help unload vehicles and set up bar area including all glassware
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, answer questions about ingredients and suggest beverages
- Verify legal drinking age for guests served alcohol
- Clean up bar area and pack beer and wine back into boxes post-event
- Assist with general breakdown of the event
- Safely transport food, drinks, and equipment to event venues
- Manage all aspects of event setup, serving, and take-down
- Carry out event plan and adapt service flow to venue specifics
- Lead a team of co-captains, servers, and bartenders
- Maintain communication with event hosts
- Be resourceful and proactive in resolving issues
- Create a supportive environment for team development
