Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Less than 1 year computer experience
- Less than 1 year experience with retail technology
- Retail experience including product knowledge and customer service
- Ability to obtain necessary sales licensure
Job Qualifications
- Less than 1 year experience using a computer including inputting and modifying information
- Less than 1 year experience using common retail technology such as smartphones and tablets
- Less than 1 year retail experience performing tasks like product identification, warranty explanations, assisting customers, zone recovery, and housekeeping
- Ability to obtain sales related licensure or registration if required by law
Job Duties
- Provide SMART customer service through adherence to Lowe's policies, seek out customers to understand their needs and assist with merchandise selection and loading, respond knowledgeably and promptly to customer and associate inquiries, demonstrate sincere appreciation to customers, communicate information on stock, special orders, features, applications, and warranties, write contracts and invoices for equipment rental and tool repairs, cross-functionally train in other store areas to deliver excellent customer service, detect signs of shoplifting and theft and report them, ensure compliance with housekeeping standards to maintain cleanliness and organization, maintain a safe and secure work environment including hazard identification and safety compliance, operate store equipment relevant to the role
