Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to obtain sales related licensure or registration if required by law
- Less than 1 year experience using a computer including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
- Less than 1 year experience using common retail technology such as smartphones and tablets
- Less than 1 year retail experience performing tasks including identifying and selling products based on customer needs, explaining warranties and product features, assisting customers in locating products, building customer relationships, resolving customer issues, zone recovery and housekeeping

Job Duties
- Provide SMART customer service through daily execution of Lowe's customer service policies, procedures and programs
- Seek out customers to understand their needs and assist in locating, demonstrating, selecting, carrying, and/or loading merchandise
- Listen to and respond promptly and knowledgeably to customer and associate questions by guiding them and walking through projects
- Demonstrate sincere appreciation to customers
- Communicate information regarding stock, special order merchandise, feature benefits, application and warranty
- Write customer contracts and invoices for equipment rental and tool repairs
- Cross-functionally train in other store areas to help deliver best customer service
- Detect signs of shoplifting, theft, and other security risks and promptly communicate to management or Asset Protection
- Ensure compliance with housekeeping standards to maintain cleanliness and organization of store and working areas
- Maintain a safe and secure work environment including conducting daily safety reviews and noting hazards
- Adhere to all safety requirements relevant to job duties such as top stock safety and use of safety devices
- Operate store equipment such as phones, paging systems, computers, surveillance and other department-specific tools
