Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior work experience in a retail environment preferred
- Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to operate a cash register efficiently and accurately
- Ability to perform general cleaning duties
- Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Effective time management
- Knowledge of products and services
- Meet state and local requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages
- Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk about the store

Job Duties
- Consistently demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills as outlined for the role
- Adhere to the company’s customer satisfaction guidelines and demonstrate appropriate interactions with customers and co-workers
- Assist customers with problems or concerns and contact store management as appropriate
- Provide feedback to store management on all products including recommending new items and products to discontinue
- Support store management in maintaining a safe environment by identifying hazards and equipment needing maintenance
- Assist store management in achieving store payroll and total loss goals
- Adhere to inventory procedures and product handling guidelines
- Follow cash policies and procedures to minimize losses
- Comply with all other company policies and procedures
- Process customer purchases and perform general cleaning duties
- Collaborate with team members and communicate relevant information to direct leader
- Uphold security and confidentiality of documents and data within area of responsibility
- Perform other duties as assigned
