Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-3 years of previous cashier experience in a luxury retail environment preferred
  • Knowledge of cash register systems and basic computer skills
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and high retail traffic days
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new technology-based procedures
  • Understanding of store policies and procedures
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to handle customer concerns and partner with management appropriately
  • Ability to multitask and maintain composure under pressure

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • College degree preferred
  • 1-3 years of previous cashier experience in a luxury retail service environment preferred
  • Knowledge of cash register systems
  • Basic computer skills including iPad, laptop, Mobile POS, and Internet usage
  • Ability to utilize walkie-talkie
  • Understanding and reading price and product release sheets
  • Polite and friendly demeanor
  • Positive attitude and energy
  • High level of personal and professional integrity
  • Strong collaborative skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize
  • Ability to adapt communication style to diverse customers
  • Knowledge of store policies and procedures
  • Comfortable with technology

Job Duties

  • Greeting customers with a smile and eye contact and offering your name
  • Interacting genuinely and naturally with customers
  • Acting as an ambassador to the Insider Program
  • Engaging customers in verbal and non-verbal conversation at Cashwrap and while in line
  • Reading cues to determine customer needs
  • Demonstrating high level of integrity when capturing and maintaining customer information
  • Performing cashier end of shift audits in partnership with store management
  • Verifying, approving, and completing return processes per policy
  • Ensuring repairs are processed correctly in partnership with management
  • Labeling and ticketing damaged or scrap returns
  • Assisting in training and development of cashiers
  • Monitoring and reporting equipment issues
  • Maintaining SKU integrity
  • Keeping Cashwrap area organized and clean
  • Suggesting multiple add-ons and selling gift cards
  • Maintaining media and cash accuracy in compliance with policy
  • Delivering product purchases to customers appropriately
