Job Qualifications
- Less than 1 year experience using a computer including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
- Less than 1 year experience using common retail technology such as smartphones and tablets
- Less than 1 year retail experience performing tasks such as identifying and selling products, explaining warranties and benefits, assisting customers, building relationships, resolving customer issues, zone recovery, and housekeeping
- Ability to obtain sales related licensure or registration as may be required by law
Job Duties
- Provides SMART customer service at all times through execution of customer service policies and procedures
- Seeks out customers to understand needs and assists in locating, demonstrating, selecting, carrying, and loading merchandise
- Listens and responds knowledgeably and promptly to customer and associate questions
- Demonstrates sincere appreciation to customers
- Communicates information regarding stock, special orders, features, benefits, application, and warranty
- Writes customer contracts and invoices for rentals and repairs
- Cross-functionally trains in other store areas
- Detects signs of shoplifting and security risks and reports to management
- Ensures compliance with housekeeping standards to maintain cleanliness
- Maintains a safe and secure work environment by conducting safety reviews
- Adheres to all relevant safety requirements
- Operates store equipment as needed depending on role and department
