Job Requirements
- Less than 1 year experience using a computer including inputting accessing modifying or outputting information
- less than 1 year experience using common retail technology such as smartphones and tablets
- less than 1 year retail experience performing tasks such as identifying and selling products based on customer needs explaining warranties product features and benefits assisting customers locating products building customer relationships identifying and resolving customer issues zone recovery and housekeeping
- ability to obtain sales related licensure or registration as may be required by law

Job Duties
- Provide SMART customer service by executing Lowe's customer service policies procedures and programs
- seek out customers to understand their needs and assist with locating demonstrating selecting carrying and loading merchandise
- listen and respond knowledgeably and promptly to customer and associate questions including project guidance
- demonstrate sincere appreciation to customers
- communicate information about stock special orders benefits application and warranty related to Lowe's programs
- write customer contracts and invoices for equipment rental and tool repairs
- cross-functionally train in other store areas to deliver best customer service
- detect and report signs of shoplifting theft and other security risks to management or Asset Protection
- ensure compliance with housekeeping standards and maintain cleanliness and organization
- maintain a safe and secure work environment including conducting safety reviews noting hazards keeping aisles clear and securing doors and gates
- adhere to all safety requirements relevant to job duties including top stock safety reinstalling safety cables use of aisle blockers and other devices
- operate store equipment as needed depending on role such as phones paging system copier fax computers CCTV surveillance key cutter panel saw paint mixer flooring cutters compacter baler tool rentals
