Job Requirements
- Less than 1 year experience using a computer including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
- less than 1 year experience using common retail technology such as smartphones and tablets
- less than 1 year retail experience including product identification, selling, explaining warranties and benefits, assisting customers, building relationships, resolving issues, zone recovery, and housekeeping
- ability to obtain sales related licensure or registration as required by law

Job Duties
- Provides SMART customer service through execution of Lowe's customer service policies and procedures
- seeks out customers to understand needs and assists in locating, demonstrating, selecting, carrying, and loading merchandise
- listens to and responds to customer and associate questions by guiding them through projects
- demonstrates sincere appreciation to customers
- communicates information about stock, special orders, product features, applications, and warranties
- writes customer contracts and invoices for equipment rental and tool repairs
- cross-functionally trains in other store areas to improve customer service
- detects signs of shoplifting, theft, and security risks and reports them to management
- ensures compliance with housekeeping standards and maintains cleanliness and organization
- maintains a safe and secure work environment including daily safety reviews and hazard management
- adheres to all safety requirements relevant to job duties
- operates store equipment such as phones, copiers, fax machines, computer systems, CCTV, key cutters, paint mixers, and tool rental systems
