Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- less than 1 year retail experience
- ability to use computers and retail technology including smart phones and tablets
- ability to obtain necessary licensure or registration
- strong communication and customer service skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
- willingness to adhere to safety protocols and company policies
Job Qualifications
- Less than 1 year experience using a computer including inputting and modifying information
- less than 1 year experience using common retail technology such as smart phones and tablets
- less than 1 year retail experience performing tasks like product identification, customer service, explaining warranties and benefits, zone recovery, and housekeeping
- ability to obtain sales-related licensure or registration as required by law
Job Duties
- Provides SMART customer service through daily execution of Lowe's customer service policies, procedures, and programs
- seeks out customers to understand their needs and assists in locating, demonstrating, selecting, carrying, and/or loading merchandise
- listens to and responds knowledgeably and promptly to customer and associate questions by guiding them through the store and projects
- demonstrates sincere appreciation to customers
- communicates information regarding stock, special order merchandise, product benefits, application, and warranty details
- writes customer contracts and invoices for equipment rental and tool repairs
- cross-functionally trains in other store areas to enhance customer service
- detects signs of shoplifting, theft, and security risks and reports them to management or Asset Protection
- maintains housekeeping standards and store cleanliness
- ensures a safe and secure work environment by conducting daily safety reviews and following safety protocols
- operates store equipment as needed depending on the role and department
