Job Requirements
- 3 or more years recent business tax return preparation experience including Partnerships and S Corporations
- minimum 20 hours work availability per week spread across three or more days
- possession or ability to obtain related state licenses certificates permits or bonds
- must possess an active PTIN
- working knowledge of Circular 230
- residence in the United States
- strong computer and technology proficiency
- excellent communication and customer service skills
- internet connection meeting Intuit security criteria
- bookkeeping experience with books to tax preparation strongly preferred
- experience preparing business tax returns for service industry clients preferred
Job Qualifications
- strong business tax preparation experience with extensive knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations
- experience preparing federal and state business tax returns for 20 or more clients per tax season
- minimum of 2 seasons personal tax preparation experience preferred
- active unrestricted credential such as CPA EA or practicing attorney
- possession of an active preparer tax identification number PTIN
- proficient with tax preparation software and technology
- excellent verbal and written communication skills
- strong customer service skills with ability to interact professionally using video and audio tools
- critical thinking problem solving and research skills
- ability to work independently in a fast paced environment
Job Duties
- maintain sensitive customer confidential and proprietary business information in a responsible reliable and safe manner
- utilize government websites professional resources and team expertise to seek out and deliver the right answer to the customer using everyday language
- interact with customers using video communications software to provide tax advice full service business return preparation and signature
- handle product software inquiries tax calculations and filing tax extensions
- create high quality customer interactions and experiences using customer empathy and expertise in business tax preparation
- apply company policies procedures and defined practices to troubleshoot and resolve customer tax advice and return preparation issues
- document customer interactions and participate in pilot testing projects and experience validations as needed
