Job Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of business tax preparation experience
- Minimum 2 seasons of personal tax preparation experience
- Must possess or be able to obtain related state licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds
- Must have an active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN)
- Proficient with technology and computer software
- Strong customer service skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Must be available to work at least 20 hours per week across three or more days
- Must reside in the United States
- Must have or obtain internet connection meeting Intuit security criteria
Job Qualifications
- 3 or more years of recent experience preparing federal and state business tax returns for Partnerships and S Corporations
- Minimum of 2 seasons of personal tax preparation experience with at least 30 tax returns per tax year
- Active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN)
- Knowledge of Circular 230
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Proficient with technology and computer operations
- Critical thinking, problem solving, and research skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Job Duties
- Maintain sensitive customer, confidential and/or proprietary business information in a responsible, reliable, and safe manner
- Utilize government websites, professional resources, and team expertise to deliver accurate answers in everyday language
- Interact with customers using state-of-the-art video communication software
- Provide tax advice, full service return preparation and signature
- Manage product/software inquiries and tax calculations
- File tax extensions
- Document customer interactions and troubleshoot tax advice and return preparation issues
