Job Requirements
- High school diploma preferred
- 1 year of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience preferred
- Demonstrates passion for guest service and competency in selling
- Proficient with basic technology such as Point of Sale system and Apple devices
- Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties
- Contribute to meeting or exceeding store goals related to retail and service sales, guest loyalty including credit, omni-channel sales, and retail shrink
- Ensure guests receive exceptional service by greeting and engaging each guest, personalizing service to their needs, answering questions about products and services, informing guests about promotions and sales, and recommending complementary products and services
- Courteously handle customer service, sales, refunds, and exchanges and assist with online orders
- Perform makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations to drive sales and enhance guest experience
- Book appointments for and support the execution of services and in-store events that deliver an unrivaled guest experience while meeting sales goals
- Stay informed about new and existing products and services, including ingredients and benefits, during work hours
- Maintain prompt and regular attendance
- Contribute to an inclusive environment that supports teammates and guests
- Share the benefits of the guest loyalty program and Ulta Beauty app with guests
- Collaborate with managers and associates to help grow the business
- Participate in ongoing training including brand and category education
- Ensure compliance with Ulta Beauty’s policies, procedures, and dress code
- Keep work area replenished, signed and faced, and testers available
- Maintain store cleanliness including sales floor, restrooms, cash wrap, backroom, and break area
- Participate in merchandise resets, planograms, marketing displays, inventory procedures, and shipment processing
- Follow loss prevention best practices and provide exceptional guest service
- Execute other operational tasks as directed
