Job Requirements

Work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Ability to continuously move throughout the store during shifts
Frequent standing, bending, pulling, pushing, reaching, and twisting during shifts
Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 25 pounds frequently during shifts
Good coordination and manipulation of objects during shifts

Job Qualifications

High school diploma preferred
One year of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
Demonstrates passion for guest service and competence for selling
Proficient with basic technology such as point-of-sale systems and Apple devices
Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
Strong troubleshooting skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Duties

Contribute to meeting or exceeding store goals related to retail and service sales, guest loyalty including credit, omni-channel sales, and retail shrink
Ensure each guest receives exceptional service by greeting and engaging, personalizing service, answering questions, informing about promotions, and recommending products or services
Courteously handle customer service, sales, refunds, exchanges, and assist with online orders
Perform makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations to drive sales and enhance guest experience
Book appointments for and support execution of services and in-store events while delivering on sales goals
Stay informed about new and existing products and services and communicate benefits to guests
Maintain prompt, regular attendance
Contribute to an inclusive environment supporting teammates and guests
Share benefits of guest loyalty programs and credit with guests on the sales floor
Collaborate with managers and associates to grow the business
Participate in ongoing training including brand and category education
Ensure compliance with Ulta Beauty policies, procedures, and dress code
Keep assigned work areas replenished, signed, faced, and ensure testers are available
Maintain outstanding store standards and cleanliness including sales floor, restrooms, cash wrap, backroom, and break areas
Participate in merchandise resets, planograms, marketing displays, inventory procedures, and processing/unloading shipments
Follow loss prevention best practices and provide exceptional guest service
Execute other operational tasks as directed
