Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
- Passion for guest service and sales competency
- Proficiency with basic technology including Point of Sale systems and Apple devices
- Strong customer relationship-building skills
- Ability to troubleshoot issues
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Flexible schedule availability including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to stand, bend, pull, push, reach, twist frequently during shift
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds continuously or frequently during shift
- Continuous mobility throughout the store during shift

Job Duties
- Contribute to meeting or exceeding the store's goals related to retail and service sales, guest loyalty (including credit), omni-channel sales, and retail shrink
- Ensure each guest receives exceptional service by greeting and engaging them, personalizing service to their needs, answering questions about products and services, informing guests about promotions and sales, and recommending complementary products and/or services
- Courteously handle customer service, sales, refunds, and exchanges and assist with online orders
- Perform makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations with guests to drive sales and guest service experience
- Book appointments for and support execution of services and in-store events that deliver an unrivaled guest experience while meeting sales goals
- Stay informed about new and existing products and services, including their ingredients and benefits to better serve guests
- Maintain prompt, regular attendance
- Contribute to an inclusive environment supporting teammates, peers, and guests
- Share benefits of the guest loyalty program, including credit and the Ulta Beauty app, with guests
- Collaborate with managers and associates to grow the business
- Participate in ongoing training, including brand and category education
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards
- Adhere to the dress code
- Keep assigned work areas replenished, signed, faced, and testers available
- Maintain outstanding store standards and overall cleanliness
- Participate in merchandise resets, planograms, marketing and advertising displays, inventory procedures, and processing shipments
- Follow loss prevention best practices and provide exceptional guest service
- Execute other operational tasks as directed
