Job Requirements
- Work a flexible schedule to include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Continuous mobility throughout the store during shift
- Frequent standing, bending, pulling, pushing, reaching, and twisting during shift
- Continuous and or frequent lifting, carrying, and or moving up to 25 lbs during shift
- Continuous coordination and manipulation of objects during shift
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma preferred
- 1 year of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience preferred
- Demonstrates passion for guest service and competency for selling
- Proficient with basic technology such as Point of Sale systems and Apple devices
- Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
- Ability to troubleshoot
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Duties
- Contribute to meeting or exceeding the store’s goals related to retail and service sales, guest loyalty including credit, omni-channel sales, and retail shrink
- Ensure that each guest receives exceptional service by providing a guest-friendly environment, greeting and engaging guests, personalizing service, answering product questions, informing about promotions, and recommending complementary products and services
- Courteously handle customer service, sales, refunds, exchanges, and assist with online orders
- Perform makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations to drive sales and enhance guest experience
- Book appointments and support the execution of services and in-store events to deliver exceptional guest experiences while meeting sales goals
- Take initiative to stay informed about new and existing products, including knowledge of ingredients and benefits
- Maintain prompt, regular attendance
- Contribute to an inclusive environment that supports teammates, peers, and guests
- Share benefits of the guest loyalty program including credit and the Ulta Beauty app
- Collaborate with managers and associates to help grow the business
- Regularly participate in ongoing training including brand and category education
- Be knowledgeable of and ensure compliance with Ulta Beauty’s policies, procedures, and standards
- Adhere to Ulta Beauty’s dress code
- Keep assigned work area replenished, signed and faced, and ensure testers are available
- Maintain outstanding store standards and overall cleanliness
- Participate in merchandise resets, planograms, marketing displays, physical inventory, and shipment processing
- Protect company assets by following loss prevention practices and providing exceptional guest service
- Execute other operational tasks as directed
