Job Requirements
- High school diploma preferred
- One year of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
- Demonstrates passion for guest service and selling competency
- Proficient in basic technology including Point of Sale systems and Apple devices
- Strong customer relationship building skills
- Ability to troubleshoot issues
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties
- Contribute to meeting or exceeding the store’s goals related to retail and service sales, guest loyalty including credit, omni-channel sales, and retail shrink
- Ensure that each guest receives exceptional service by providing a guest-friendly environment, greeting and engaging each guest entering the store, personalizing service to their needs, answering questions about products and services, informing guests about promotions and sales, recommending complementary products and services
- Courteously handle customer service, sales, refunds, and exchanges and assist with online orders
- Perform makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations with guests to drive sales and enhance the guest experience
- Book appointments for and support execution of services and in-store events that deliver an unrivaled guest experience while achieving sales goals
- Stay informed about new and existing products and services and communicate their benefits to guests
- Maintain prompt and regular attendance
- Contribute to an inclusive environment that supports teammates, peers, and guests
- Share guest loyalty program benefits including credit and the Ulta Beauty app with guests
- Collaborate with managers and associates to help grow the business
- Participate in ongoing training including brand and category education
- Ensure compliance with Ulta Beauty’s policies, procedures, and standards
- Adhere to the company dress code
- Keep assigned work area replenished, signed, and faced, with testers available
- Maintain outstanding store standards and cleanliness including salesfloor, restrooms, cashwrap, backroom, and break area
- Participate in merchandise resets, planograms, marketing and advertising displays, physical inventory procedures, and shipment processing
- Protect company assets by following loss prevention practices
- Execute other operational tasks as directed
