Job Requirements
- Work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Continuous mobility throughout the store during shift
- Frequent standing, bending, pulling, pushing, reaching, and twisting during shift
- Continuous and/or frequent lifting, carrying, and/or moving up to 25 lbs during shift
- Continuous coordination and manipulation of objects during shift
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma preferred
- 1 year of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience preferred
- Demonstrates passion for guest service and competency for selling
- Proficient with basic technology such as Point of Sale system and Apple devices
- Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
- Ability to troubleshoot
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Duties
- Contribute to meeting or exceeding the store's goals related to retail and service sales, guest loyalty (including credit), omni-channel sales, and retail shrink
- Ensure each guest receives exceptional service by greeting and engaging them, personalizing service, answering product questions, informing about promotions, recommending products and services
- Handle customer service, sales, refunds, exchanges and assist with online orders courteously
- Perform makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations
- Book appointments for and support execution of services and in-store events
- Stay informed about new and existing products and services, knowledgeable about ingredients and benefits
- Maintain prompt, regular attendance
- Contribute to an inclusive environment supporting teammates, peers, and guests
- Share the benefits of the guest loyalty program including credit and the Ulta Beauty app
- Collaborate with managers and associates to grow the business
- Participate in ongoing training including brand and category education
- Be knowledgeable and ensure compliance with Ulta Beauty policies, procedures, and standards
- Adhere to dress code
- Keep assigned work area replenished, signed and faced, ensure testers are available
- Maintain store cleanliness including salesfloor, restrooms, cashwrap, backroom, break area
- Participate in merchandise resets, planograms, marketing and advertising displays, physical inventory procedures, processing/unloading shipments
- Protect company assets by following loss prevention best practices and providing exceptional guest service
- Execute other operational tasks as directed
