Job Requirements
- High school diploma preferred
- minimum one year of relevant work experience preferred
- ability to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- physical stamina for continuous mobility and standing during shifts
- ability to bend, pull, push, reach, and twist frequently
- capable of lifting, carrying, or moving up to 25 pounds during shifts
- comply with company dress code and operational standards
- demonstrate passion for guest service and sales
- ability to learn and communicate product knowledge effectively
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma preferred
- one year of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
- passion for guest service and competency in selling
- proficiency with basic technology such as Point of Sale systems and Apple devices
- ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
- ability to troubleshoot problems

- excellent communication skills
Job Duties
- Contribute to meeting or exceeding the store's performance goals related to retail and service sales
- engage with guests to provide personalized beauty recommendations and exceptional service
- handle customer service, sales transactions, refunds, and exchanges including online order assistance
- perform makeup applications, skincare analyses, and product demonstrations
- book appointments and support execution of in-store events
- stay informed about new and existing products to effectively educate and assist guests
- maintain regular attendance and adhere to schedules
- contribute to an inclusive environment supporting teammates and guests
- share benefits of loyalty programs and assist in promoting the Ulta Beauty app
- collaborate with store managers and associates to foster business growth
- participate in ongoing training and professional development
- comply with Ulta Beauty's policies, procedures, and dress code
- keep assigned work areas stocked, signed, and faced
- maintain cleanliness and outstanding store standards across all areas
- participate in merchandise resets, planograms, marketing displays, inventory procedures, and shipment processing
- adhere to loss prevention best practices
- complete other operational tasks as directed
