Job Requirements
- High school diploma preferred
- Minimum of 1 year relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
- Passion for guest service and sales competency
- Basic technology proficiency with Point of Sale and Apple devices
- Strong interpersonal and customer relationship skills
- Troubleshooting ability
- Capability to work independently and collaboratively
- Flexible schedule availability including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Continuous mobility and frequent standing, bending, pulling, pushing, reaching, twisting, and lifting up to 25 lbs
- Capability for continuous coordination and manipulation of objects during shifts
Job Qualifications

- Demonstrates a passion for guest service and competency in selling
- Proficient with basic technology such as Point of Sale systems and Apple devices
- Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Duties
- Contribute to meeting or exceeding the store’s goals related to retail and service sales, guest loyalty including credit, omni-channel sales, and retail shrink
- Ensure each guest receives exceptional service by greeting, engaging, personalizing service, answering product questions, informing about promotions, and recommending products and services
- Handle customer service, sales, refunds, exchanges, and assist with online orders
- Perform makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations with guests
- Book appointments and support execution of services and in-store events to deliver an unrivaled guest experience while meeting sales goals
- Stay informed on new and existing products and services and be knowledgeable about their ingredients and benefits
- Maintain prompt, regular attendance
- Contribute to an inclusive environment supporting teammates and guests
- Share the benefits of the guest loyalty program including credit and the Ulta Beauty app
- Collaborate with managers and associates to grow the business
- Participate in ongoing training including brand and category education for professional development
- Ensure compliance with Ulta Beauty’s policies, procedures, and standards
- Adhere to the dress code
- Keep assigned work area replenished, signed, and faced with testers available
- Maintain outstanding store standards and overall cleanliness including salesfloor, restrooms, cashwrap, backroom, and break area
- Participate in merchandise resets, planograms, marketing and advertising displays, physical inventory, and shipment processing
- Protect company assets through loss prevention and exceptional guest service
- Execute other operational tasks as directed
