Job Requirements
- High school diploma preferred
- Minimum 1 year relevant work experience or equivalent education and experience preferred
- Passion for guest service and sales aptitude
- Proficiency in using basic technology including point of sale systems and Apple devices
- Ability to build customer relationships
- Ability to troubleshoot issues
- Ability to work independently and as a team member
- Flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Physical capability for continuous mobility, standing, bending, lifting up to 25 lbs, carrying, pushing and twisting during shifts
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma preferred
- At least 1 year of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
- Demonstrated passion for guest service and sales competency
- Proficiency with basic technology such as Point of Sale systems and Apple devices
- Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
Job Duties
- Contribute to meeting or exceeding the store's retail and service sales goals including guest loyalty and omni-channel sales
- Ensure exceptional guest service by greeting, engaging, and personalizing to each guest, answering product questions and promoting sales
- Handle customer service transactions including sales, refunds, exchanges, and online orders
- Perform makeup applications, skincare analyses, and product demonstrations to enhance sales and guest experience
- Book appointments and support in-store events to drive guest satisfaction and sales targets
- Stay informed about new and existing products, their ingredients, and benefits to better assist guests
- Maintain consistent attendance
- Contribute to an inclusive team environment supporting peers and guests
- Promote loyalty programs including credit and Ulta Beauty app
- Collaborate with managers and associates to grow business
- Participate in ongoing training for professional development
- Ensure compliance with company policies and dress code
- Keep assigned areas stocked, signed, faced, and testers available
- Maintain store cleanliness in all areas
- Participate in merchandise resets, planograms, displays, inventory procedures, and shipment processing
- Follow loss prevention best practices and protect company assets
- Execute other operational tasks as assigned
