Job Requirements
- High school diploma preferred
- 1 year of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience preferred
- Passion for guest service and competency for selling
- Proficient with basic technology including point of sale systems and Apple devices
- Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
- Ability to troubleshoot
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties
- Contribute to meeting or exceeding the store's retail and service sales goals, guest loyalty, omni-channel sales, and retail shrink targets
- Ensure exceptional service by greeting and engaging each guest, personalizing service to their needs, answering product questions, informing about promotions, and recommending complementary products and services
- Handle customer service tasks including sales, refunds, exchanges, and assisting with online orders
- Perform makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations to drive sales and enhance the guest experience
- Book appointments and support execution of services and in-store events aimed at delivering exceptional guest experience and meeting sales goals
- Stay informed on new and existing products and services, including ingredients and benefits, during work time to better serve guests
- Maintain prompt, regular attendance
- Contribute to an inclusive environment supporting teammates, peers, and guests
- Share benefits of the guest loyalty program, including credit options and the Ulta Beauty app
- Collaborate with managers and associates to help grow the business
- Participate in ongoing training for continuous professional development and sales performance
- Ensure compliance with Ulta Beauty policies, procedures, and dress code
- Keep assigned work area replenished, signed, and faced, ensuring testers are available
- Maintain outstanding store standards and cleanliness across all areas
- Participate in merchandise resets, planograms, marketing displays, inventory procedures, and processing shipments
- Follow loss prevention best practices to protect company assets
- Execute additional operational tasks as directed.
