Job Requirements
- High school diploma is preferred
- 1 year of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience preferred
- Demonstrates a passion for guest service and competency for selling
- Proficient with basic technology such as Point of Sale system and Apple devices
- Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
- Ability to troubleshoot
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Work a flexible schedule to include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties
- Contribute to meeting or exceeding the store’s goals related to retail and service sales, guest loyalty (including credit), omni-channel sales, and retail shrink
- Ensure that each guest receives exceptional service by providing a guest-friendly environment, greeting and engaging each guest, personalizing service to their needs, answering questions about products and services, informing guests about promotions and sales, and recommending complementary products and/or services
- Courteously handle customer service, sales, refunds, and exchanges and assist with online orders
- Perform makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations with guests to drive sales and enhance guest service experience
- Book appointments for and support the execution of services and in-store events that deliver an unrivaled guest experience while meeting sales goals
- Stay informed regarding new and existing products and services and be knowledgeable about ingredients and benefits to better serve guests
- Maintain prompt, regular attendance
- Contribute to an inclusive environment supporting teammates and internal and external guests served
- Share the benefits of the guest loyalty program including credit and the Ulta Beauty app
- Collaborate with managers and associates to grow the business
- Participate in ongoing training including brand and category education
- Be knowledgeable of and ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and standards
- Adhere to dress code
- Keep assigned work area replenished, signed and faced, and ensure testers are available
- Maintain outstanding store standards and cleanliness including salesfloor, restrooms, cash wrap, backroom, and break area
- Participate in merchandise resets, planograms, marketing and advertising displays, physical inventory procedures, and processing/unloading shipments
- Protect company assets by following loss prevention best practices
- Execute other operational tasks as directed
