Job Requirements

  • H.S diploma or GED and one year of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Compliant with all local food safety health codes and required certifications
  • Ability to work part-time during restaurant hours and special events
  • Must have good mobility and ability to lift heavy objects sometimes in excess of 30 pounds
  • Must efficiently handle multiple duties under pressure with minimal supervision
  • Ability to check identification according to statutory regulations
  • Must promote a friendly atmosphere for members, guests, and coworkers
  • Ability to comply with all state and federal laws, rules, and regulations relating to food and beverage sanitation, alcohol and tobacco, and ADA requirements

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • College degree in Culinary Science, Foodservice Systems Administration/Management, Hotel/Restaurant Management desirable
  • Previous related work experience
  • Knowledge of local food safety health codes and required certifications
  • Ability to efficiently handle multiple duties under pressure with minimal supervision
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Good physical mobility and ability to lift heavy objects sometimes in excess of 30 pounds

Job Duties

  • Take customer orders, serve food and beverages, prepare itemized checks, and accept payments
  • Complete all daily tasks and cleaning schedules assigned by the Manager, Food and Beverage (Clubhouse Manager)
  • Perform daily cash reconciliation
  • Prep garnishes for drinks, stock bar, and maintain a clean work area
  • Check identification of customers at the bar area to ensure they meet all statutory regulations
  • Work both private and club events
  • Promote a friendly atmosphere for all members and guests, as well as coworkers
  • Ensure operations comply with all state and federal laws, rules, and regulations relating to food and beverage sanitation, alcohol and tobacco, and ADA requirements
  • Perform other duties as appropriate
