Job Description

Proof of the Pudding is a reputable catering company operating under the umbrella of COTA Catering, known for delivering exceptional food and beverage service experiences at major events. Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • at least one year of bartending experience
  • possession of a valid TABC certification
  • availability to work all Formula 1 event days October 17-19 2025 with a paid training day on October 14 or 15
  • ability to follow federal local and venue alcohol policies
  • ability to stand for prolonged periods and perform physical tasks including lifting up to 30 pounds
  • excellent communication skills
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • adherence to company uniform requirements
  • willingness to work indoors outdoors and in temporary structures
  • reliable and hardworking with good organizational skills

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • 1+ years of bartending experience
  • must hold a TABC
  • familiarity with Square POS is preferred
  • must be extremely hardworking and organized
  • must be exceedingly responsible and accountable
  • maintain good grooming and personal hygiene
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • excellent listening and communication skills
  • renowned time management and organization skills
  • strong customer service skills with desire to go above and beyond client needs
  • ability to work alone and as a team
  • strong attention to detail and ability to learn and adapt quickly

Job Duties

  • responsible for both pre and post bar set-up and breakdown responsibilities
  • sets bar up in a timely manner including icing down product
  • communicates well with bar back personnel during the event to assist with replenishment during shift
  • greets all guests and gives exceptional customer service
  • operates a point of sale system to collect funds
  • attentive to guests needs throughout the entire event
  • cleans bar after closing and discards excess ice
  • records closing inventory used to balance bar consumption vs sales
  • responsible for putting away all inventory as directed
  • follows all federal local and venue alcohol policies
  • performs other related duties as required
