Job Requirements
- Positive attitude, professional demeanor, and exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to deliver service to members, guests, and team members
- ability to work in a team environment
- ability to stay calm and focused during the busiest of times
Job Qualifications
- Twelve (12) months of front-of-house experience in high-volume restaurants, resorts, or private clubs
- required to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and shifts greater than eight (8) hours in length
- required to read, write, speak, and understand English
- required to work indoors and outdoors
- required to stand, walk, and move for a period of greater than four (4) hours
- required to lift, carry, bend, stoop, squat, reach, push and pull
- may be required to lift and carry items that are sometimes greater than 50 pounds
- background check will be performed at the expense of the employer
Job Duties
- Execute craft cocktails and continuously create and present new ideas to management
- mix and serve drinks to patrons, directly or through waitstaff
- greet all guests and members promptly and politely, and by name whenever possible
- maintain cleanliness and organization of bar/bar storage areas at all times
- execute cocktail recipes and demonstrate ability to follow recipes for syrups and all house-made ingredients
- enter all transactions accordingly into point-of-sale system and issue accurate checks to members and guests
- display extensive knowledge of all beverages and ingredients, as well as recommendations for pairings of food
- demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of wine and ability to make recommendations from the club wine list
- demonstrate sense of urgency for responding to guest needs during all interactions
