Job Requirements

  • Must have physical stamina to lift moderate amounts of weight
  • Must be able to work weekends

Job Qualifications

  • Great memory for recollection of frequently requested drinks
  • Knowledge of mixology and preparation to create signature drinks
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills to maintain order using a multitude of different ingredients and tools
  • Ability to work efficiently during high-volume hours
  • Consistency in drink quality for regular customers

Job Duties

  • Prepare drink orders for guests according to specified recipes using measuring systems
  • Issue, open, and serve wine/champagne bottles
  • Set up and maintain cleanliness and condition of bar, bar unit, tables, and other tools
  • Prepare fresh garnishes for drinks
  • Stock ice, glassware, and paper supplies
  • Transport supplies to bar set-up area
  • Wash soiled glassware
  • Remove soiled wares from bar top and tables and place in designated area
  • Anticipate and communicate replenishment needs
  • Process all payment methods
  • Count bank at end of shift, secure bank
  • Complete designated cashier reports, resolve any discrepancies, drop off receipts
  • Secure liquors, beers, wines, coolers, cabinets, and storage areas
  • Complete closing duties
  • Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors
  • Service and take orders from guests seated at the bar area offering interesting, and vivid descriptions of each items origin, taste, and preparation methods
  • Maintain a working knowledge of liquors, wines, beers, ports, Armagnacs, eau de vies, cognacs and specialty drinks
  • All other duties as assigned by leadership
