Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in hospitality preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays
- Physical ability to perform cleaning and stocking duties
- Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Must be at least 18 years old
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in barback or similar hospitality role preferred
- Knowledge of bar equipment and beverage service
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good physical stamina and ability to stand for long periods
- Strong attention to detail
- Basic understanding of health and safety standards
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Job Duties
- Clean up spilled food, drink and broken dishes, and remove empty bottles and trash
- Fill bins
- Maintain adequate supplies of items such as silverware plates, and glassware
- Serve food to customers when bartender needs assistance
- Slice and pit fruit used to garnish drinks
- Stock refrigerating units with wines and bottled beer and replace empty beer kegs
- Wash and restock glasses and other serving equipment at bars
- Clean and polish counters, shelves, walls, furniture, and equipment in food in service areas and other areas of restaurants, mop and vacuum floors
- Attend to any spills and/or mess made securing the area with signage and cleaning affected area
- Clean and sanitize ice bins
- Change out soda bibs as needed
- Cut fruit and make fresh squeezed juices for cocktails
- Remove and clean floormat at end of night
- Other responsibilities as assigned by management
