- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Food handlers certification
- RBS certification
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
- A team player with a positive attitude and willingness to assist others
- Able to lift and carry bar supplies, as well as perform physical tasks such as setting up bar stations
- Available to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays during the busy event season
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods during events
Job Duties
- Provide professional, friendly, and efficient bar service during banquet events
- Set up banquet bar stations, including stocking liquor, beer, wine, mixers, garnishes, glassware, and equipment according to event specifications
- Knowledgeable and enthusiastic merchandising of all food items, bar and beverage items, and retail items
- Ability to completely answer food and drink related questions from guests
- Monitor guest consumption and practice responsible alcohol service in accordance with state and company guidelines
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of bar areas, including wiping counters, restocking supplies, and removing empty glassware
- Assist with beverage replenishment at stations or passed service, if applicable
- Work closely with the banquet captain and other team members to ensure smooth event operations
- Break down bar stations and assist with clean-up of banquet areas after events
- Address any guest needs or concerns in a courteous and professional manner
- Follow all health and safety standards, including proper sanitation and alcohol service procedures
