Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

  • Prior experience as a bartender, preferably in a banquet or event setting
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Food handlers certification
  • RBS certification
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
  • A team player with a positive attitude and willingness to assist others
  • Able to lift and carry bar supplies, as well as perform physical tasks such as setting up bar stations
  • Available to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays during the busy event season
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods during events

Job Duties

  • Provide professional, friendly, and efficient bar service during banquet events
  • Set up banquet bar stations, including stocking liquor, beer, wine, mixers, garnishes, glassware, and equipment according to event specifications
  • Knowledgeable and enthusiastic merchandising of all food items, bar and beverage items, and retail items
  • Ability to completely answer food and drink related questions from guests
  • Monitor guest consumption and practice responsible alcohol service in accordance with state and company guidelines
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of bar areas, including wiping counters, restocking supplies, and removing empty glassware
  • Assist with beverage replenishment at stations or passed service, if applicable
  • Work closely with the banquet captain and other team members to ensure smooth event operations
  • Break down bar stations and assist with clean-up of banquet areas after events
  • Address any guest needs or concerns in a courteous and professional manner
  • Follow all health and safety standards, including proper sanitation and alcohol service procedures
