Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous retail or customer service experience is an advantage
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Physical ability to lift and carry merchandise as required
Flexible availability including weekends holidays and evenings

Job Qualifications

Clear effective communication with strong interpersonal skills
Accountability initiative and a high level of ownership
Organizational skills attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds for stock support or fulfillment roles
Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs

Job Duties

Create a smooth fitting room experience by greeting customers and escorting them to fitting rooms then sorting and returning clothing to the floor
Motivate and inspire others to adopt initiatives such as the Nordstrom Rewards program
Keep the stockrooms organized and complete all inventory processes ensuring merchandise is properly checked in and accurately ticketed
Work with the team to ensure the sales floor remains runway ready through re-merchandising and straightening throughout the day
Assist customers with a variety of transactions through a seamless and friendly experience
Demonstrate expertise in all technologies used in the store environment
Defuse customer situations and provide resolutions in a timely and effective manner
