Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds frequently and occasionally up to 50 pounds for stock support or fulfillment roles
- Availability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs
- Strong communication skills with effective interpersonal abilities
- High attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred but not required
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with strong interpersonal skills
- Basic math and computer skills
- Ability to work flexible schedules including evenings weekends and holidays
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds for stock or fulfillment roles
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work well in a team environment
Job Duties
- Create a smooth fitting room experience by greeting customers and taking them to their fitting rooms then sorting and returning clothing to the floor
- Motivate and inspire others to adopt initiatives such as our Nordstrom Rewards program
- Keep the stockrooms organized and complete all inventory processes making sure merchandise is properly checked in and accurately ticketed
- Work with the team to ensure the sales floor stays runway ready through re-merchandising and straightening throughout the day
- Assist customers with a variety of transactions through a seamless and friendly experience
- Demonstrate expertise in all technologies used in the store environment
- Defuse customer situations and provide resolutions in a timely and effective manner
- Receive unload freight unpack and deliver newly arrived merchandise to selling departments
- Fulfill customer orders in a timely manner following quality standards
- Prepare and ship customers orders following quality packing and shipping standards
- Utilize inventory management systems to scan process and research merchandise shipments in accordance with our inventory control processes
- Assist in maintaining clean and organized selling floors and stockrooms
- Provide general support to the store for example set up special events organize backroom markdowns and relocate store fixtures
